Tej Kohli Bravejournal brings the first few glimpses of the Miss Universe

Pageant  2008.

 

 

The gorgeous Miss Venezuela Dayana is crowned Miss Universe 2008 at the finals of 57th Miss Universe Contest. This 22- years-old ravishing beauty beats runners-up from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Russia and Mexico to clinch the diamond-studded golden crown. Dayana let out her emotional streak while dealing with the crowd of photographers. She also mentioned of her experience of being kidnapped in her country and how it taught her to remain calm under pressure.

 

The other runner-ups were:

 

1st Runner Up: Taliana Vargas (Colombia)

 

2nd Runner Up: Marianne Cruz Gonzalez (Dominican Republic)

 

3rd Runner Up: Vera Krasova (Russia)

 

4th Runner Up: Elisa Najera (Mexico)
